Over 30 million international online shoppers from China, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and United States are willing to buy Swiss products, reports the “Swiss e-Commerce factor in International Sales and Deliveries” study realized by the Observatory NetComm Suisse in 2015. A huge number of potential customers that cannot but grow if we take into consideration other countries such as those with a fast-growing middle class.
Nowadays eCommerce is no longer an alternative but an imperative, especially to those companies addressing new markets. Nevertheless, many small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) underestimate the fact that starting an eCommerce business is hard work with many steps and issues.
Purpose of this webinar is to provide an overview of the topics that SMEs should expect to face and handle when seeking to expand their business across borders through eCommerce. Participants will also learn how to be able to exploit the full potential of the so-called “Swiss eCommerce Factor”, that has been identified as the natural propensity of international online shoppers to associate Switzerland with high quality products, trustworthy online services, timeliness of delivery, secure payments as well as, in various cases, unique products.
