This pandemic is the worst crisis the travel sector has ever faced. We are now entering the next phase of this unprecedented journey- the reopening of borders and hotels. Our radius of travel will widen, but it will remain much tighter than before.

Will regional travel be the one helping to nurse most of the impacted parties? A global ranking comparing how nations cope with coronavirus finds that Switzerland is the safest place to be. Switzerland Tourism, has launched two major campaigns to entice residents to choose ‘staycations’ over foreign travel. We will be able to ask the Executive Vice President of Switzerland Tourism more about how this pandemic can be turned into an opportunity.

What about educational, language programs offered by EF, the international programme? How did they adapt and how did they communicate during a period of uncertainty? Their Chief of Staff will tell us more about the challenges and opportunities encountered.

Join us for this exercise of future-gazing over an optimistic, but stil realistic view on the travel industry.
