Corriere del Ticino was founded in 1891 by Agostino Soldati and it is the leading Italian-language newspaper in Switzerland. The head office is located in Muzzano and the editorial offices are located throughout the canton Ticino: Lugano, Chiasso, Bellinzona and Locarno. Every day, the newspaper offers its subscribers and readers quality information from local news to international news, with in-depth information and extensive services in the "Il fatto" section. On Fridays the newspaper is enriched by the ExtraSette insert that gives space to the events of our territory, while on Saturdays we find the insert of religious information Catholica and the pages of in-depth journalism CorrierePiù. The online editorial staff is active seven days a week from the early hours of the morning until late at night and guarantees the continuous updating of the news on the site www.cdt.ch.

Corriere del Ticino is part of the Corriere del Ticino Group, which includes the media TeleTicino, Radio3i, Ticinonews.ch, cdt.ch, Caffè, Tessiner Zeitung and the advertising agency MediaTi Marketing. The general management of the group is entrusted to Alessandro Colombi, while Paride Pelli is the operational director of Corriere del Ticino and Fabio Pontiggia is the responsible director.
